Meet the three visionaries behind the OMBRE program. Dr. Lisa J. Lewis Dr. Lisa J. Lewis Dr. Lisa J Lewis, OTD, OTR/L, MACLP, CPAM (Dr. Lisa) is a licensed Occupational Therapist and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. She has earned a Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. Dr. Lisa has also earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and is an independently licensed psychotherapist in the state of California. Dr. Lisa has recently become trained in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and is also certified to use Physical Agent Modalities on all populations, including children. In addition, she has received certified training to implement the following programs: PACE, The Alert Program, Handwriting Without Tears, The Zones of Regulation, S.C.E.R.T.S, The Incredible Years. Dr. Lisa has always had a passion for working with children and has finally realized her dream in combining her occupational therapy and psychotherapy experiences to encourage every child to reach their developmental potential. Dr. Lisa believes that each child is a unique individual and therefore one specific program is not necessarily going to fix everything. It takes time, patience and understanding to really understand what each child needs. Anna Gross Anna Gross Anna Gross, MS, CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Anna completed her coursework in orofacial myofunctional therapy with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT). Subsequently, Anna completed an internship program with Joy Moeller at her renowned clinic in Pacific Palisades, CA. Anna is also a professional member of the Academy of Applied Myofunctional Sciences (AAMS), and the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA). In addition to her work in private practice, Anna’s clinical experience includes the Los Angeles Unified School District, and an externship at the Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. Anna holds a Master of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences from California State University, Northridge. At Cal State she served as president of her professional student organization (NSSLHA), and was awarded the Dean’s Outstanding Graduate Award. Deena Wachtel Deena Wachtel Deena is our back-end marketing maven. Armed with an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business, and a desire to build new brands, Deena is the business mind behind OMBRE. She has worked for several multi-national marketing companies (including Mattel and Disney), advertising agencies and start-ups, and consistently brings a passion of branding, solid financial models and a desire to help others.
